The Rock Creek Foundation

Funding Support & Resources

At The Rock Creek Foundation, we honor the dignity of every person—and that’s why we say, “Choose to let your life speak.”

We believe disability is not the problem. The real challenge lies in the lack of resources and opportunities that prevent people with multiple disabilities from fully participating in everyday life. For more than four decades, we’ve built innovative programs that provide the support, structure, and stability individuals need to grow, thrive, and live more independently.

We also recognize that living a full life looks different for everyone—and it takes collaboration to make it possible. That’s why we partner with a wide range of organizations to help us fulfill our mission and expand opportunities for those we serve.

Our current funding sources include:

This primary State agency that funds community-based services and support for people with developmental disabilities, provides key funding for the Rock Creek Foundation. Discover how the DDA and RCF help transform lives.

The Maryland Department of Health’s Behavioral Health Administration offers an integrated process for planning, policy, and services to ensure a coordinated quality system of care, as well as providing services and support and promoting recovery, resiliency, health, and wellness for individuals who have or are at risk for emotional and other psychiatric disorders.

It’s this simple: Individuals who lead full lives have the freedom to choose. They live and thrive in places where they feel included, can participate, and remain engaged and active as citizens. Our goal is to ensure that each person we serve can develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible, in their own communities and that they are able to realize their fullest potential.
